Deirdre Duggan Budzyna has been an elementary school teacher in both public and private settings for ten years. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in theatre and education and received a Master's Degree from Lesley University in Creative Arts in Learning. Deirdre is currently an early childhood education professor at Northern Essex Community College. She has directed children's theatre at the Page School in West Newbury, the Bresnahan School in Newburyport and The Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport. mara flynn
Mara Flynn is co-director of Acting Out, an actress, musician and teacher. For twenty years she has performed in the seacoast area, as well as New York, the west coast, and abroad. She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in theater. Mara has over ten years of teaching experience and has taught theater workshops at Governor Dummer Academy, Newburyport Montessori, the Brown School, New Hampshire Theater Project, as well as eleven years of her own summer programs in Newburyport and Groveland. juliet nelson
Juliet Nelson has been a member of the Newburyport theatre community since the age of seven. She has performed extensively on the North Shore, and has also worked in Boston and Portsmouth, NH. She has taught drama classes to young children for several years at the Summer Theatre Camp at Veasey Park in Groveland, MA and at the Actor's Studio in the Tannery. Juliet received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in cultural anthropology and literary theory. She has been a preschool and kindergarten teacher at the Newburyport Montessori School for the past three years. She is currently working to obtain her Montessori certification and is also pursuing a master's degree in early childhood education at Endicott College.
